About us

Welcome to Miyuki Aquatics" I’m Jake, the owner, and I’m excited to share my passion for breeding high-quality betta fish with you. We are located in Hertfordshire and here you will discover a wide range of fish and aquatics supplies at great prices. We specialise in breeding and supplying healthy exclusively UK bred fish and we will be expanding our variety of fish in the coming year. Thank you for supporting my small business as I grow!

Delivery

We deliver our fish using a 24 hour service, this allows us to make sure the fish arrives in the best condition possible. After purchasing the fish you want, contact us to arrange delivery, if purchased from Monday to Thursday we can ship the same day with a guaranteed by 1pm service making sure you receive your fish as fast as possible. We ask you contact us after purchase to confirm you will be home until 1pm the day of delivery, as missed deliveries are not our responsibility, and may result in fish deaths which we want to avoid at all costs.

Returns Policy

Unfortunately we do not accept returns on fish, this is because the postage costs are too high and the stress on the fish through multiple shipping's can cause death. To make up for this we try to provide you with clear pictures and a video of the fish your purchasing, all the fish you see that are individually listed are the fish you will receive.

"Randomly selected" fish options are important to be able to offer a lot of fish variety, listing hundreds of similarly looking 'blue" bettas would be very challenging to maintain, so to make up for this, after you order your "randomly selected" fish, you may request a picture of the fish selected before we ship it off to make sure you are fully satisfied, and accommodations can be made.

DOA Policy

In the unlikely but unfortunate situation that a fish you have ordered arrives dead we will replace the fish or refund you the value of the fish but we do not cover postage fees.

All we ask to be eligible for a refund or replacement is that you take a photograph proving the fish is dead in the bag it was delivered in. Once the fish has been put into your tank or removed from the bag we can no longer honour this policy.

We apologise for not being able to cover postage costs but after it leaves our facility, it is no longer in our care and we cannot get the postage costs back.
